Base 51 is a charity supporting anyone 11-25 years old living in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Young peoples’ wellbeing is more than just addressing their physical health needs, but is about their whole person. This includes their emotional health, having settled accommodation, healthy relationships and ultimately making a positive transition to adulthood. Community Recording Studio, based in St Anns, teaches film and video skills as well as music, giving youngsters access to professional equipment and key industry contacts

Sports and Mentoring

Switch Up exists to empower Nottingham’s young people, children and young adults to break the cycle of offending and reoffending. Switch Up uses tried and tested mentoring techniques along with physical training to engage Nottingham’s young people in positive activity and to steer them away from the circle of crime and gang-criminality.
