We're providing an opportunity for 5 young people to gain new skills and experience working with us from start to finish on the next hashtagng Stop Violence campaign.
Powell and Barns Group produce the hashtagng stop violence campaigns on behalf of Nottinghamshire VRU. The videos have proven to be very powerful and effective and we want to continue producing engaging content that relates to young people in Nottinghamshire. The last campaign reached over 142,000 people and won a national award.
Shadow scheme participants will work with the team to research, write, and script videos, manage casting calls and work across all aspects of production to create content for the next series of awareness videos highlighting the issues behind youth violence. They will also join us on set to film the videos, and be involved in editing ideas, concepts and drafts and when fliming is complete, you will work with us on the digital marketing campaign.
The shadow scheme participants will also have an opportunity to work on an exciting feature length film production.
We will provide access to all equipment and resources. All expenses are paid, and at the end of the shadow scheme participants recieve a certificate and a £50 shopping voucher, plus access to a creative CV workshop.
Experience / Qualifications:
No previous experience neccessary.
We are more interested in a can do attitude, a willingness to learn and a creative mind set.
Participants must be reliable, punctual and committed to completing the work experience and training for the 16 week duration.
Hours will vary, but no two days are the same and participants will have lots of opportunity to develop leadership skills and a chance to share thoughts and ideas.
