The Circle of Light is a creative music network run by young people for young people, with a focus on those facing barriers such as economical, social, racial discrimination, gender inequality and mental health problems.
Funded by Youth Music, every year since 2019 we run our FREE award winning 3 week music project where we work collaboratively to create, promote and perform an entire music album.
We have opened applications for this years album project and we are wanting to make sure this opportunity reaches the people who need it the most. The project is for young people ages 18-25 from across Nottinghamshire however, other locations are always considered. If you know anyone who could benefit from taking part in the COL project, please feel free to share the information below.
Project Producer Tiffany said:
“To give insight into the value of what Circle of Light has to offer, I joined COL in 2019 with lack of confidence, no support network and an uncertain future, and in just 2 years COL has helped me establish myself as a music artist and a freelance project producer and brand manager for other community organisations and independent creatives. I’m not the only one, there are plenty more people just like me that have grown tremendously on the COL project.”
